FIC: One Truth, Countless Lies (Prologue)

Story Summary: The BO has been destroyed, but any data that might lead to a cure, as well as Haibara Ai, have perished as well. With this setback, Kudo Shinichi plans to make a move that could be more painful to Ran than telling her the truth.
Here's the Prologue to my latest fic entitled One Truth, Countless Lies. I've already posted this over on FF.net under the name "Tetra26", so don't be shocked if you see this elsewhere and go "OMG STOLENZ!!!" batty_gal = Tetra26. As I said in my last entry, I've been steppin' to the bad side by cutting almost completely back on comic book reading and devoting my time to manga. No slash in this fic (as of now, I don't know what this will lead into). Enjoy!
