Writer's Block: Untimely Passing
Dec. 8th, 2008 09:27 pm[Error: unknown template qotd] Gerald LeVert's death really got to me. He was one of the greatest contemporary singers, and I shouted out NO! outloud when I read the news. And since I used to listen to the radio show (Tom Joyner) where he would sometimes be on, it was sad listening to them after he died. Even worse, when his father sang a tribute to him, I felt like crying. Such a funny, talented, and loveable man who's life was cut entirely too short. RIP Gerald, as well as Luthor Vandross -- two soul greats who had more talent in their pinky fingers than most of these so-called "singers" out here.
