I am! It'll be my second NaNo ever, but I really want to do it. Though there's like two weeks of planning left and I still have no idea what I want to write about. Heh.

Cool! I still don't know what I want to write about either, but I've been creating characters (this will be my first one) and I have several ideas that I haven't settled on yet.

I've got a list of characters *rummages around for notebook* that I've dragged out from other short original drabbles. But they're all so random I can't imagine anything putting them together. And this'll be my second; last year I wrote about Rufus traveling the world. It's so AU it's almost original, but I shoved Wolf in to support the story.

Oooh that sounds interesting! I like a good AU, especially when it explores the characters that aren't written often.

I'm thinking about doing a collection of short stories, but I need to find out if that's allowed though.

Well, at the end of the month it did feel like I'd just completed a very epic piece of fanfiction!

And I have no idea if short stories are okay... I'm terrible at being brief anyways so I'll be sticking to a single story. I want to try fantasy, but trying to figure out what would be original is HARD

I know! I have all these ideas, and am trying to weed out the ones that haven't been done already in some form. I think I'm going to stick to one story as well if I do it. I haven't officially signed up yet, but I have been planning using the "snowflake method" I read about from a post on the official forums.

I've read the Snowflake method, but it doesn't seem feasible for someone with my lack of abilities *writes in short bursts of unrelated information that is manhandled into fitting* Though I think if you really want to, short stories are fine.

It's hard to be original nowadays, when there's so much stuff written already...

With much persuasion I've gotten a decent number of people to try NaNo with me. And after sorting through some of the older stuff I've written, I've at least found the leading female protagonist for my story.

What she does? I still have till Sunday to think about it :D
